Even the wild cannot escape
the controversy of complexion.
“Genetic mutation”—basis for
darkness marinated in feline fur.
Empirical reasoning—”melanism,”
yet beauty, demeaned by idealism.
Still, this knight—
of the darkest nights,
of majestic, melanated hue,
boasts its shifting shades—
blackish-brown, grey, and blue.
- On dverse Poet pub its all about Complaint, a poem of lament. However I have also seized the opportunity to have a go at no theme Thursday hosted by Kevin- The beginning At last.
Thanking both platforms for the opportunity to express myself!
